Let the upgrade begin

So I know at least some of my friends will be pleased to hear that I've completed my upgrade to Graffiti CMS, migrating from dasBlog.  I must say that dasBlog has served me very well, but as the blog has grown in popularity, I've done screencasts, and other things I've begun to realize that I truly needed a CMS, not just a blog.  The blog will remain a major feature of TimRayburn.net and the existing feed url will continue to retrieve only my blog content, but I've now got room to grow.

How'd you go about doing this? Have a special "import" tool from dasBlog to Graffiti?

No magic on my part, all the magic done by Graffiti CMS and Omar Shahine.

Graffiti now (as of 1.1) has a DasBlog importer which pulls in all your posts, comments, etc from your DasBlog content directory.

Omar Shahine then wrote a Graffiti plug-in which does either 301 or 302 redirects of your old URLs to the new URLs so you don't lose page rank and placement. Works pretty darn well if you ask me.
